Baby Gathering

We had a great time at our monthly baby gathering.  Thank you to the Dollivers for hosting this month!  We've been doing a baby gift exchange (white elephant style) at the last couple of parties which is a lot of fun for everyone.  This month, Emmeline got a cool bug bubble toy.  The babies had a blast watching it circle around (yes, it moves!) and "fart" bubbles.  Our poor little friend ended up with only one wing after the babies were done playing! ha

This may have been when it lost a wing! ha ha

Incentive to crawl?!?!

Spring Swing!

SPRING IS FINALLY HERE!!

Taking a walk with mommy and daddy to the neighborhood park.  What a beautiful, SUNNY spring day.
My first time in a "big girl" swing.  I loved it!
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!

Basking in the sunshine...

 Just chillin' like a villain...

Hoppy Easter!

We had a very low key Easter.  Some friends from Portland came up and Uncle Noel visited (no pics--oops!).
It was a beautiful, SUNNY weekend!!

Here are some pictures of our little honey bunny (thanks for the bunny ears Grammie Rydecki)...
Her first time in the grass!

She wasn't too sure about it...

She loves to clap!

Watching the neighbor kids play (thank you for my new cute outfit Aunt Megan)

It's official...somebunny doesn't like the grass!

HAPPY EASTER!

A big thank you to all of our friends and family who sent Emmeline Easter/Spring gifts.  How thoughtful!  We really appreciate it. We are so blessed!

Adventures in Eating...

Emmeline is having a lot of fun exploring different tastes and textures.  Still no teeth, but this girl has no problem chewing and enjoying everything we put in front of her.  It is so fun to see her try new things.  A few of her new favorites are mango "fries" and salmon (served with a side of avocado-ha!).  She has also recently tried steamed brussel sprouts, cheddar cheese strips, bread/toast strips, kiwi, coconut milk yogurt, zucchini, lentil beans, purely o's (like cheerios), watermelon wedges and some basmati rice and naan bread when we ate out at an Indian restaurant.  She doesn't eat a huge quantity yet, but we always try to include her in our mealtimes.

"Want some?"

She loved salmon!  She wanted more every time she finished what was in front of her.

She shovels food in.  We have to remind her to slow down and chew what is in her mouth first!
