Labor Day Weekend

Daddy was home for a few days over the holiday weekend.  He's still working on a project in Idaho (on for 2 weeks, home for a weekend...repeat).  It sounds like he will be home for good mid-October.  Fingers crossed!!!!  We sure do miss him!
We really have to make the best of our weekends together and get as much family time in as we can.  Labor Day weekend was so much fun.

It was a beautiful weekend so we decided to spend as much time as possible OUTDOORS!

Here are some pictures from our weekend adventures...

She loves playing guitar with daddy

She even helped him with his Fantasy Football lineup (rolling eyes!!!!)! ha.  She looks so cute though in her pink Seahawks jersey (Thanks Matt and Marcy!)!

We went to Idylwood Beach Park for a dinner picnic and to see the duckies...

REMLINGER'S FARM
We took a trip to Remlinger's farm.  It was fun strolling around seeing all that this fun little place has to offer.  Emmeline is still too young for the rides and other activities, but we still had a great time.  I can't wait to go back for their fall festivities!

This was after sharing a mini apple pie ala mode with Emmeline and Aaron from Remlinger's little cafe/bakery.  YUM!  Put a smile on my face. ;-)

This cracks me up.

Would this be considered child abuse??
We had to do it.

Look, dad!  An apple!

Come on ride the train and ride it...choo, choo!!

(as the train pulls into the station)..."IS THAT THE TRAIN I GET TO RIDE???"

(uh oh...daddy has the camera now!)

I love this one.

I love how we both look annoyed here. ha ha!!!

Cutie face!!!

We're moving!!!

YAY!

No hands!

"Give me a kiss!"

Love this one of her.

(just a few of the farm animals we saw)

PONY RIDE!!
This is Peaches the Pony.  Our intention was to have Emmeline just look at the ponies, pet them and MAYBE sit on one for a picture.  Well, they encouraged us to let her go for a little trail ride (with one of us by her side).  As much as she seems to really like horses right now, I thought for sure she would freak out once we put her on one.  Boy was I wrong!!  As we took off for the pony ride, she was clucking her tongue (trotting sound) and smiling.  At one point she even waved at people watching her (while holding on to the saddle with the other hand!  What a pro!  I was cracking up!).  When the horse stopped at the end she said, "woah!".  She is so funny!!!

Emmeline loves coloring with mommy and daddy.
This was at Snoqualmie Brewery/Restaurant.
Emmeline even had fun writing (playing) with other kids with chalk on their giant wall chalkboard.  We wanted to take her to the falls, but it was way too busy!  Next time...
