We had the pleasure of spending some quality time with our Michigan cousins Amber, Abbi, Ashley and Athen (from the Rydecki side). Never in a million years did we think they'd ever make the trip out here. They had never been to the west coast and planned a sisters' getaway...no husbands and no kids!
The girls wanted to come see all that Washington had to offer. We made sure to get a taste of Seattle by doing the usuals on the "must see/must do" list...Pike Place Market, The Space Needle, ferry ride (to Bainbridge Island), Alki Beach, Blue C sushi, etc. Of course they also had to drive around looking for Mr. Grey and his Escala bachelor pad! ;-)
Here are just some of the pictures from our camera (can't wait to see the rest!)...
We took a daytrip to Mount Rainier National Park. It was about a 2.5 hour drive to the Crystal Mountain base where we climbed aboard a gondola that took us up to the nearly 7000 ft viewpoint of Mt. Rainier and the Cascade mountain range. It was so awesome!! We were deciding between a trip to the Olympic National Park/Forks/coast or here...so glad we decided on this! It was perfect.
We will go visit Jacob, Edward and Bella next time!! ;-)
