Crawling!

Emmeline has been trying to crawl for some time now.  It was fun watching her try to figure it out and watching the progression of this developmental milestone.  She would get so frustrated because she wanted so badly to move around but she could quite figure out how to work her legs.  Over the last week, she has been rocking and scooting around a little to reach toys but she OFFICIALLY started crawling over the weekend.  We got some footage of her one-legged, crooked crawl.  It is too cute!! We are in trouble!

Emmeline's first trip to the Seattle Aquarium!

She went with some of her favorite baby friends and they all LOVED it.  It was so fun to see them taking in all of the local sea life.  They loved all of the fun colors and movement.

I am so bummed that everyone couldn't make it and also that we didn't get a group photo of those who did.  But, here are some of the photos we did get while there...

We now interrupt your regularly scheduled program to announce...

Emmeline is going to be a BIG sister!!!!!!!!!  We're due December 5th (yup, you did the math right...15 1/2 months apart! eek!).  While we are overjoyed and excited to expand our family, I must say this did come as a surprise...or shall I say SHOCK. ;-)  We weren't thinking about starting round 2 quite yet...however, since we went through a personal struggle to get pregnant with Emmeline (not to mention a scary birth), we did wonder how it would work out the second time around when that time came.  This truly is another miracle and blessing.  And surprises are fun, right?  We really are so excited for Emmeline to have a sibling.  Bring on the adventures!

Seafood night!  Gourmet meal prepared by Chef Aaron.  Homemade pizza night by Chef Jessica was delicious as well...but we didn't get any fancy pictures.  :-)

Homemade Margerita and Rosemary/walnut/fig/pear/gorgonzola pizzas. Mmmm!

Crab crusted Alaskan halibut (from Pike's) with crimini mushrooms and a white truffle cream sauce, roasted redskin potatoes and a vegetable stirfry (zucchini, tomato, onion, broccoli, garlic).

 These two were in heaven!  Eating like Queens. ;-)
